What  makes you different?

1. We use professional detergents.  Many window cleaners use dish soap which doesn’t clean as well, and tends to attract dirt.   Our detergents keep the windows clean longer.  They are also biodegradable.  We usually use Glass Gleam 3 by Titan

2. We also use pure water as the base to mix the detergent with.  It is a highly filtered, de-ionized water which absorbs dirt very well and leaves less residue.

3. We also can use Water Fed Pole technology which cleans the window and the frames at the same time, then rinses the glass with 99% pure water that dries clear

4. And actually these are not the most important things we do different.  We strive to be a professional, and friendly to all our customers.  We want you to feel like you have received the best service possible.  Many times customer give us the job simply because we were the only ones to return a phone call in a timely matter or show up on time for an appointment.  This is what makes us different.

How often should I have my windows cleaned?

The Glass Association of North America or GANA recommends cleanings when “dirt and residue appear.” The importance of regular cleanings reduces the risk of harmful deposits which can damage glass. Many Businesses need monthly cleanings.  Residential homes normally should be cleaned 2 to 4 times a year depending on location and personal preference

I have several windows with moisture inside the glass? What caused this to happen?

This is referred to as IG or seal failure.  See our window restoration services for information

How much do you charge?

It depends if it is residential or commercial windows.  For most residential homes we charge $2.00 to $2.25 a surface.  But it depends on size of windows, how dirty they are, if we need to do paint or hard water removal, etc.  Give us a call and we can give you a quote on window cleaning.  We do offer discounts for regular cleaning accounts. Click here for our contact page.

What does our window cleaning service include?

Standard window cleaning bid includes cleaning specified windows, wiping down screens that have to be removed with a towel and wiping off excess water from sills and frames.  We do first level hard water removal  and paint removal with no extra charge if it is on a small number of windows.  If many or most of the windows have hard water  or paint or other substance that is difficult to remove there may be extra charges.

We can include: screen cleaning with special cleaner that renews the screen material.  Deep clean of window tracks by vacuuming out debris, then brushing and wiping tracks.  Hard water removal.  Paint removal.  We hope to in the near future offer window resurfacing and scratch removal.

Do you have any pointers on cleaning my own windows?

Don’t use Windex!  (I hope Windex doesn’t see this)    Most spray on window cleaners don’t work well in my personal opinion.   You can buy professional window cleaning soap and squeegees at Home Depot or Lowe’s.  Don’t buy the cheap plastic squeegees but rather the bronze, stainless steel or aluminum squeegees with replaceable rubber.  We put the soapy water on with a cleaning wand, then use a s-curve pattern with the squeegee.  I may be easier for you to dry one edge of the window then squeegee across, wiping your squeegee dry between each stroke.
